During all this time the chief investigator Pao (Lau Ching-Wan) is loosing his cool from the mounting pressure of such a big case. Review: This is a police action movie of cat and mouse. Where the cop is going after the bad guy who is continuously taunting him with a psychological relationship between them all along the film. The story isn't something new but it is well played out. In the beginning its a little long and mabey a little confusion but by the middle you start to understand what's going on and that's when you get into the movie.

The good guy (Lay Ching-Wan) and bad guy (Francis Ng Chun-Yu) are both well known actor, we had high expectation but unfortunately their performance was not as good as we were hoping for. You did not get a very strong feeling of the characters in this movie, they tried to get a psychological thing going but it was very vague. As for the supporting actors they disappeared into the background.

The action scenes were composed of car chases and gun fights were well put together but there wasn't anything really outstanding about them. The one thing we found was missing from the movie was the deeper character development. It really take time to understand what the characters want and what they think, but maybe it was the directors goal. The final scene really adds a strong emotional moment in the film which kind of give more meaning to the film.

The subtitles on the Mei Ah version were good, the letters were nice and clear.

The movie is an good police movie for those who really like this genre of movie. We weren't all that impressed with the movie but I am sure there are some of you that would really enjoy this film.
