Story: The story of a group of highly skilled terrorists that seek to steal the royal jewels on the opening night of the exposition. One of the guests is Frankie the famous kung fu movie star (wanna be Bruce Lee). Frankie's bodyguard Lt. Kit Li (Jet Li) has a score to settle with the terrorists, 2 years ago his wife and son were killed by an explosion from a bomb planted by the leader of the terrorist. During the night many people discover that Frankie is not the superstar that the movie screen shows him to be but luckly Kit Li is always there to save him. Along with a police officer and a journalist the four try to ruin the plans of the terrorists.

Review: This was a good story but its basically another twist of the Die Hard movie concept. In general the movie had an excellent mix of comedy coming from the Frankie's character and action performed by Jet Li. These two make an excellent duo, you'd expect Jet Li to be the main star of the film but we found that Frankie's (Jackie Cheung) performance to rival Jet Li, he was basically the star of the movie. Also the supporting cast were quite good, this goes for both the good guys and bad guys.

The Kung Fu fights were very good but there weren't that many of them, that is the main reason why this film was classified as action and not kung fu. As for the rest of the action it was excellent and there were not scare to kill people, that includes children and everything else. Even with all this killing there is no direct camera shots of it, nor is it very bloody.

This is a good film for any fan of Jet Li or action mixed with comedy. The subtitle are very clear (maybe small to some people) in this movie, so you wont have too much trouble understanding this movie.
