[KFCC] Channel 69 Review

Story: Jeha is an ex-reporter with hacking skills who is hired by the police to find Dark Messiah, the creator of a new deadly computer virus. Jeha decides to track down the girl that is shown on the screen when the virus is run. He eventually find Minhee, an aspiring porn start, who had no clue that she appeared in this virus, together Minhee and Jeha decide to track down the hackers. After they discover the location of the hackers, Jeha decides to join forces with them due to a twist of events and they will try create a pirate porno movie station.

Review: This is a korean movie about hackers and porno movies, the story is about a group that rebel against the system to reveal the truth about a corrupt politician. There is also a very sexy side to the movie as part of the storyline is free porn for everyone. The first 5 minutes of the movie seem boring but it picks up after that, the story is not to complicated and everything is revealed by the end of the movie. There is quite a few of twists in the plot that make the story really interesting.

The characters are a very important part of this movie, the focus is on the main group of hackers. The rest of the characters in the movie are more for support than anything else. There is a little background to some of the hackers but not much of a development during the movie. We must mention that the chick Minhee was especially sexy and she made a great PJ (Porno Jockey, you need to see the movie to understand).

There is little conventional action in this movie, you wont see any shooting, explosions or fights but somehow you are entertained. There is quite a bit of thrill as the hackers go about their secret plans without being discovered. There is also some humour, or at least we found some situations really funny. In the end it is the story that keep everything together that holds the entertainment value but we really cant say much for the end of the movie. Its the kind of end you would have for a TV show. For the porn part of the movie it is only as in the subject of it, there is no real porn in this movie. You only get 2 free shots of breast and the rest is up to your imagination.

The subtitles were good expect that sometimes to flashed by too fast. When we first got this movie we decided to check if the DVD worked we watched the first 5 minutes and it did not look so good, we looked at each other and we asked ourselves why did we want this movie in the first place. Those 5 minutes of deception caused us to forget this movie on the shelf but when we finally decided to watch it, the movie was not so bad. After the beginning, the story really picks up and it turns out to be a really entertaining movie. Its nothing incredible but it has a nice story and a nice cast.
