Story:
Dr. Harry a scientist working for the US government
is infected with a prototype virus that is being developed
to make un killable super soldiers. He travels back
to Hong Kong where he has a friend who has some advanced
knowledge concerning the Virus. Dr. Harry gets in trouble
with some triads after a quick fight where the Triads
get beaten up the police come and arrest everyone. While
in prison the virus changes Dr. Harry into a zombie
and he starts infecting others.
Review: This is a Zombie horror type movie
much like the popular Bio Zombie. The movie is based
on the same zombie pretext and in our opinion was
based on the success of Bio Zombie and Resident Evil.
The horror element in this movie is basically the
zombie but a good portion of the movie is more funny
than scary. The story is pretty ordinary, the first
half of the movie slowly builds up becoming more interesting
while the second half the story becomes a little pointless.
The characters were pretty ordinary, only one character
was really interesting during the movie, a small potato(Sam
Lee) in the Triad. This character mostly stuck out
because he was pretty funny in how he acted in the
various situations. As for the zombies they were pretty
funny in how they acted, the zombies in Bio Zombie
were much better. There was also a king zombie which
was kind of cheesy.
The movie itself is not really action packed for
the genre, the first half of the movie is building
up slowly to something good. In the second half you
have zombie all over and people trying to get away.
Most of the movie is in a police station, you would
expect more people to be armed and ready to deal with
zombies. Most of the time they were running and hiding
from zombies and nothing really exciting going on.
So actionwise this movie was pretty ordinary and un-exciting.
The subtitles were nice and clear on the DVD version,
we had little trouble following the dialog. We were
not too sure what this movie was when were ordered
it we knew it was a new release. We expected something
in the Bio Zombie style or perhaps something with
some inspiration by a video game called Resident Evil.
We were disappointed when the movie was over, the
first half of the movie builds up to something great
but when you have really strange zombie running around
and nothing happening it got pretty cheesy. This movie
could have been a lot better as they had elements
for a cool story, they had the Triad involved and
deserters from the Chinese army and a band of angry
peasants raiding a police station. Yet even with all
these interesting elements nothing good came out of
it, we found the movie to be pretty cheesy and maybe
an attempt to cash in on Bio Zombie's success. Perhaps
some of you will like this movie but don't expect
anything special when watching this one.

DVD
[ NTSC, All Region
] :
A good image quality and a very decent surround 5.1
sound. This DVD includes the following extras : Chapter
Selection, Cast and Crew, A trailer for Clean my name
Mr. Coroner. We founded it strange that they did not
have the movies trailer on the DVD, if you really
liked this movie its a good buy but we suggest watch
it before you buy it.
