Story: Jet Li arrives from Hong Kong to visit his master who owns a small chinese medicine shop. Soon as he arrives in American a small gang try to rob him but they fail miserably. Jet Li finds his master's shop but its been boarded up with no sign of him. Jet Li finds out that his master went missing over a month ago and goes to find him. During the way he finds out an ex student of his master has challenged him for dominance the Kung Fu world. Jet Li must help his master and fight the ex student.

Review: Out of all the Jet Li movies this one has the reputation of being the worst of all those movies ever, but that does not mean you wont enjoy it. The main reason this movie was rated as the worst was because of the terrible acting on the part of the American characters. With the acting and the situations it gives the movie an extreme cheesy feel. Jet Li and his master are the only decent actors.

The concept behind the story was good and it could of been made into something really great but instead it turned out really cheesy. There are a lot of strange scenes in the movie some nobody comes into the story does something and disappears and you don't know why he was there. Also these strange scenes leave you a bit confused.

As for the characters in this film other that Jet Li's master they were pretty much uninteresting. Even Jet Li seemed like a tourist at times. This movie had the largest group of first time actors in the background we ever saw and as our guest reviewer for today says they're acting is worse than in a porno film.

The one good thing we can say about this movie is the Kung Fu of Jet Li does not fail. He is both serious in his acting as he is serious in his martial arts. His moves are excellent and so are the moves of his master in the movie but unfortunately they are the only ones with any decent fighting talent as the rest of those who fight are pretty lame. Even if the fight talent was not that good the large battles were interesting except for one annoying detail there was always someone coming to interrupt the fight.

The subtitle were the standard medium quality but half the people speak english so you forget about reading the subtitles completely. This movie can be either terrible or it can be hilarious, it all depends in which mind set you watch the movie in. It is by far a cheesy movie that has not much going for it other than Jet Li and as for the rest of the people who appeared in the film they'll probably never get another acting job again. When we saw this movie we could not stop laughing, if your a group of friends and want to watch a movie and not take it seriously you can find this movie entertaining (that is the reason for the duel rating). For serious viewers are advised to keep away from this movie as you will no doubt find it terrible, stupid and a waste of your time. It is up to you to take the risk.
